About
A measurement company, not a magic company.
FoundByName exists because a new question appeared in every town: what does the AI say about us? We answer it with records, not opinions.
Nicolas Philippe, founder
I sign my emails as Nick. I built FoundByName and I read every reply myself. If a report is wrong about your business, tell me and I will fix it.
What we believe
If a number can’t be recomputed from the data on the page, it’s marketing, not measurement. Every score we publish comes with the full answers behind it.
How we work
A small operation run from France: one founder plus software that does the repetitive work so the price stays flat. Our mailing address is in Wilmington, Delaware. Everything happens by email and self-serve checkout, no sales calls at any point.
What we refuse
We never promise rankings or results, because nobody controls what an assistant answers. We publish, we measure, and we show you the change, including when there isn’t any.
The check, run on us.
Every week we ask the assistants we track about AI visibility tools for local businesses, and we publish whether they name us. The count is on the page, whatever it says.
The report is the product. Honesty is the policy.
Reach us by replying to any report email. Postal address: 800 N King Street, Suite 304-3817, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA.
